The owner of Oddessy Martial Arts Supply is Mr. Ted Winningham. Mr. Winningham is a 6th Degree Black Belt and holder of the Oyata family scroll. This scroll is the highest honor in Ryukyu Kempo. It was bestowed on Ted by "Taika" Seiyu Oyata, who founded the International Ryukyu Kempo Organization. Mr. Oyata has been Ted's instructor, mentor, and advisor for over 20 years.

Ted, his wife Joyce, and his daughters, Mechelle, and Sabrina, opened Oddessy in late 1988. Their commitment to quality and customer appreciation has ensured their success. The company, with this commitment, has experienced steady and constant growth, which continues to this very day.
